Buyer FAQ

The practical questions before a custom workflow project.

A good first release begins with a clear operating problem, realistic access boundaries, and a delivery model that both editors and platform owners can support.

Product and fit

What does PageOps Studio build?

We build focused browser extensions and workflow tools that connect websites, CMS environments, publishing information, localization, page quality, and the next useful editor action.

Is Page Assistant an off-the-shelf product?

Page Assistant is the proven product foundation, but each customer implementation is scoped around its domains, CMS structure, roles, terminology, permissions, integrations, and deployment process.

Which CMS platforms can you support?

The flagship experience is based on Adobe Experience Manager. Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, Drupal or Acquia, WordPress VIP, and other platforms can be evaluated through a workflow and technical discovery.

Can you improve an existing extension?

Yes. We can review an internal extension, bookmarklet, browser workflow, or manual process and propose a safer, more maintainable product direction.

Discovery and delivery

What do you need from us to begin?

A useful first conversation needs one real workflow, representative pages, the affected user roles, relevant environments, known exceptions, and the outcome your team wants.

Do we need a complete technical specification?

No. Discovery is designed to turn operational knowledge into a clear product scope. Technical requirements are confirmed with the appropriate platform and security owners.

Can we start with a pilot?

Yes. A narrow pilot with representative users and pages is usually the best way to validate usefulness, performance, permissions, and maintainability before expanding.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on platform access, number of environments, mappings, integrations, security review, testing, and rollout scope. A quote separates discovery, pilot, and production milestones.

Security, data, and deployment

Does the extension bypass CMS permissions?

No. A responsible implementation uses the user’s active session and remains bounded by the permissions and destinations available to that user.

Does PageOps Studio need our content or credentials?

Only the minimum information required for the agreed workflow should be used. Authentication, data access, storage, and external API use are documented and reviewed during discovery.

How can an extension be distributed?

Options include public or unlisted browser stores, private organizational listings, and enterprise-managed browser deployment. The correct model depends on security, support, and user access requirements.

Can features be disabled by role or team?

Yes. Settings and destinations can be designed around role, access, environment, or use case so editors do not see capabilities that are irrelevant or unavailable to them.

Commercial model and ownership

Why is there no public price list?

The cost depends on the CMS, environments, brands, locales, rules, integrations, security requirements, rollout, documentation, and support scope. Each proposal is therefore custom.

Who owns the finished work?

Licensing, source access, reusable foundations, customer-specific configuration, maintenance, and intellectual-property terms are agreed transparently in the commercial documents.

Is support available after launch?

Yes. A proposal can include warranty, maintenance, platform-change support, new mappings, feature evolution, store releases, and agreed response expectations.

Are you affiliated with the CMS vendors listed on the website?

No vendor affiliation or endorsement is implied unless explicitly stated. Platform names are used to describe compatibility, experience, or potential implementation scope.
