Current approach
PageOps Studio uses essential storage, optional display-preference storage, and consent-based Google Analytics. Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics and preferences.” Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and cross-site advertising features remain disabled.
Essential storage
pageops_cookie_consent is a local-storage value that remembers whether you selected “Allow analytics and preferences,” “Preferences only,” or “Essential only,” so the choice banner does not appear on every visit. Loading the quote form's first-party CAPTCHA creates a short-lived PAGEOPSSESSID session cookie. The session stores the expected CAPTCHA code on the server so automated spam can be reduced; the cookie itself contains only a session identifier. These functions are necessary for the interaction you request.
Optional preference storage
pageops_theme remembers light or dark mode. pageops_text_size remembers your selected text size. When you allow preferences, these values are kept in local browser storage between visits. When you select essential only, display changes apply only to the current browser session.
Optional analytics
After analytics consent, Google Analytics measurement ID G-8MXR9K2G13 may set _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish visits and produce aggregated traffic reports. These cookies may remain for up to two years, subject to browser controls and the configured analytics retention settings. The analytics script is loaded asynchronously after the page has finished loading. No Google advertising storage is enabled.
Change your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. You can also clear site data using your browser settings. Choosing preferences only or essential only withdraws analytics consent and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Choosing essential only also removes saved theme and text-size values from local storage and keeps any current display changes only for the browser session. Withdrawing consent does not prevent access to website content or the quote form.
